Resident was admitted to The Phoenix Rehabilitation & Nursing Center on February 25, 2015 for our rehabilitation service. In the beginning, he was with a feeding tube because he couldn’t swallow anything, and he couldn’t move at all. After our Director of Rehabilitation Department Evaluated him, we decided to have him on physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy 5 days a week.

During his stay, he enjoined a lot of activities created by our Recreational Department. Live Jazz Concert, he even stood up and started dancing a little. We also provided him with LCD TV with DirecTV service. In his room, we had a private phone line for him to use. His family members always call in and speak to him. Concierge service visit him daily, makes him feel comfortable.

He had a strong goal, which was to get better as soon as possible. With all the services he received, with all the improvements he made, upon discharge, he can walk with a walker and eat all meals by mouth.
