Ms. Baker was admitted to Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing on December 22, 2016 from Sumner Regional Medical Center with a diagnosis of pneumonia. She also had suffered from a fall from being weak from her respiratory ailment. Upon hospital discharge, Ms. Baker was admitted to Gallatin Center for therapy and support for her respiratory illness.

According to Ms. Baker, “The nurses and therapist have taken really good care of me. I have been pleased with my care here at the Gallatin Center. Some of my techs even call me mom or grandma.”

While at Gallatin Center, Ms. Baker shared her love of drawing horses where she actively participated in the “Art for Life” program and several other recreational programs.

After a successful journey or exceptional outcomes and much success, Ms. Baker was discharged back to her home on January 25, 2017. She noted to be pleased with returning home and very much looks forward to getting back to her normal routine. One routine that she was really excited to return to was the local Cracker Barrel on a regular basis.
