How did this patient hear about Manchester Center for Rehabilitation and Healing?Hospital recommendation

Details of Experience:
Mrs. Morris arrived after being hospitalized at Unity Medical Center for issues relating to AFib and CHF. Upon arrival, Mrs. Morris was not pleased about being at a rehab center. She didn’t feel she needed rehab and wanted to go home.

She was quickly met by our many team members here at Manchester Center, Recreation, therapy, social worker, Concierge, and several more. She decided to stay and give it a try. When first admitted at Manchester Center, Mrs. Morris had difficulty walking due to weakness and was a significant fall risk. She required extensive assistance with her activities of daily living (ADLs).

After spending about three weeks with us and working really hard on her therapies, she was discharged home. She is now able to walk up to 200 ft with her walker and can complete all her ADLs by herself. ”

When the Concierge asked her about her stay, she stated, “everyone helped her to improve, and she was happy she decided to stay and get the help she needed!

Mrs. Morris, Manchester Center wishes you all the best and a healthy future!!
