How did this Patient hear about Beeghly Oaks Center for Rehabilitation & Healing? Cheri, SW from hospital told her about us

Therapy: Patient was admitted on 9/22/15 after a fall at home and she was able to be discharged home independently on 11/14/15.
Upon admission she required assistance for all ADL’s and Moderate assistance for transfers and bed mobility. She displayed instability with right knee with all weight bearing activities and complained of pain. She was only able to walk short distances with a wheeled walker with assistance due to her fall risk.
She received OT and PT services for car transfer training, ADL training, transfer and gait training, balance activities, and strengthening. After her Physical and Occupational therapy at Beeghly Oaks she was able to return home with a right knee brace for more knee support and she was independent with all ADL’s, transfers, and ambulation of >150 feet with a wheeled walker and no complaints of pain. We wish her continued success at home!

Activities: What a pleasure to care for her during her stay here at Beeghly Oaks! Between her treatment and therapies patient enjoyed reading, she accepted daily complimentary newspapers and she also enjoyed television, religious events, visits from her church members, visits from her family and occasional visits with her kitty. To see her light up when her kitty came to visit was priceless! I wish her well on her endeavors; she will be truly missed!

Michelle Burton, Recreational Therapy Director

Concierge: It was truly a great experience meeting her. She and I hit it off from day one when I took her to her room. She worked so hard and enjoyed every triumph she made, always a smile and one of the most positive people I have ever known. God Bless her and I know she is now home cooking.
