How did this Patient hear about Beeghly Oaks Center for Rehabilitation & Healing? Received a list from hospital and Beeghly was close to his home.

Nursing: Mr. Bodamer was admitted for Rehab and spent 10 days with us. He was just an enjoyable person and worked hard to return home. It was our pleasure to see Mr. Bodamer when he returned for Out Patient Therapy and more enjoyable to see him able to return to normal.

Lisa Davis, ADON

Therapy: Mr. Bodamer was weak when he came to our community, but worked hard with PT and OT on balance training, gait training, and ADL strength. He was able to walk out with a walker and return home with his wife. Allen continued to come for out-patient PT services here at Beeghly Oaks for four weeks and now is independent with no assistive device. It was our pleasure to meet and be of service to Allen.

Shannon Blissenbaugh, Director of Rehab

Activities: Mr. Bodamer preferred rest and self directed activities between his treatment and therapy while here in our community; he did voice contentment with his leisure activities of choice, accepting daily offers of complimentary newspapers, books from the facility’s library and enjoyed walks outdoors in the beautiful courtyard area. As always it was a pleasure to bring a smile and joy to Mr. Bodamer while here in our community!

Michelle Burton, Recreational Therapy Director

Dietary: Mr. Bodamer admitted with renal restrictions. Recently coming off dialysis, his taste buds were altered, and with the help of zinc and supplements we were able to maintain his weight during his stay at Beeghly by working closely with Mr Bodamer to ensure food was tasty to him as well as nutritionally sound food.

Kara VanHorn, Dietary Mgr.

Concierge: Mr. Bodamer is certainly a gentleman with an outstanding personality. He was joy to visit with. I enjoyed talking with Allen and his wonderful wife. It was my pleasure to bring him in fresh fruit one day when he said he would enjoy some melon. Thank you Mr. Bodamer for allowing us to care for you when you needed us.
