Details of Experience:
We had a 33 year old male admitted to Cortlandt Healthcare on 9/4/14. This resident was involved in a motor vehicle accident that left him with multiple fractures and healing incisions due to surgical repairs. Resident has a cervical collar that is to be worn at all times, casts on both lower extremities, a cast on left upper extremity and was to be non-weight bearing on left arm and both legs. With the great nursing care and participation of our physical therapy/ occupational therapy programs he is now able to ambulate with the use of a rolling walker, get in and out of bed independently and utilize adaptive equipment to dress himself!!
