How did this patient hear about Hospitality Center for Rehabilitation & Healing? Grandson is currently an employee and marketing efforts made by Erin Durham.

Winfred H. was admitted to Hospitality Center for Rehabilitation & Healing in seek of rehabilitation after a two week stay at Greene Memorial Hospital. Winfred was admitted to Greene Memorial as a result of contracting Pneumococcal pneumonia and the seasonal influenza virus. Combining these diagnosis with preexisting conditions of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disorder (COPD) and asthma, Winfred was placed on the vent in the intensive care unit for twelve days.

On January 27, 2015, Mr. H was then discharged to Hospitality Center to begin his rehabilitative journey. Initially, Mr. H. couldn’t even manage to pull himself up to perform daily tasks. After an astounding two short weeks, Mr. H had developed enough strength and stamina to walk out of Hospitality’s doors independently and unencumbered. Winfred is currently residing at home with his supportive family where he is nearly 100% back to his old life.

Mr. H. was extremely appreciative of the therapy and nursing staff who was so instrumental in his recovery. Winfred was particularly appreciative of Jennifer, his nightly nurse aide, who was in his words, “outstanding.” The praises did not end there as Winfred also noted Mike, his day nurse aide, was a, “good one!”

Upon his discharge home, Winfred stated that he would recommend Hospitality to anyone and is very appreciative of all the support and help he received from the staff. Winfred H’s efforts to recover is a prime example of Hospitality being a family-oriented community. It speaks volumes that a staff member would volunteer to bring his or her family member to their place of employment. It speaks even louder that the family member received the five star quality of care that we promise to each and every patient that enters our community.
