Mrs. Evans was admitted from St. Elizabeth Hospital Medical Center, Boardman Campus to Oasis Center for Rehabilitation and Healing on July 7, 2016. She was admitted with a diagnosis of Lower Abdominal Pain and abnormalities of gait and mobility. Upon her admission to Oasis, Mrs. Evans was evaluated by the Interdisciplinary Team and she began a therapy program designed to meet her needs. The nurses and aides attended to her medical and clinical care during her short term rehab stay.

Mrs. Evans actively participated in daily physical and occupational therapy and states that she is stronger than when she first admitted to Oasis. She credits her nurses and aides for the exceptional care she received during her stay. Mrs. Evans expressed her appreciation for all the follow up Concierge surveys making sure that everything was ok. She was able to attend her favorite bingo activity several times and said “ It was time for me to relax and enjoy something for myself.”

Mrs. Evans had been a Resident at Oasis in the recent past and chose to return to the community because she was treated so well by the staff. She is anticipating surgery in the near future and has expressed her desire to return to Oasis for nursing care and therapy.
