How did this patient hear about Platinum Ridge? Lives locally.

Dolores “Dee” came to Platinum Ridge for rehabilitation after having her left knee replaced. When she initially started rehabilitation, she was only able to walk with a wheeled walker and assistance up to 3 feet with pain and weakness. Her pain level was rated at 6/10. Dee completed her therapy program here in 10 days with great progress. She is now able to walk independently with a w/walker up to 200 feet and has since progressed to a cane ambulating 300 feet with supervision.

She will continue to work towards independence with the cane at home. Dee is able to go up and down steps with a cane only needing an occasional cue for foot placement. Her knee flexion increased from 75% to 98% and her swelling has decreased tremendously. She used weights and electrical stimulation to strengthen her leg which helped as illustrated by her progress in therapy. Dee is very positive in her attitude towards healing. We wish her the best of luck with home health and her journey thereafter.
