How did this patient hear about Ramapo Manor? Patient was referred to Ramapo Manor by the Case Manager at GSH.

Resident came to Ramapo Manor on April 26th 2015 after being at Good Samaritan Hospital for a couple of days. He was admitted into Ramapo Manor for intense Rehabilitation due to multiple medical issues. He was the sweetest man I had ever encountered. He would always have a smile on his face and appreciated all of the help that we provided for him. After about a week we had an issue and we needed his help. We needed to move his room so I kindly went in there and told him the situation. Without any hesitation he said not a problem at all. In the end he said he was the best move because we put him by the window in his new room and one of his favorite hobbies was being outdoors. He did his daily requirements with PT/OT and was moving along very smooth. Nursing would always love seeing him throughout the day because he would always make them laugh and smile. He was always pushing himself and so he could get back to everyday living. After thirty three days here at Ramapo Manor he was ready to be discharged. His last night here we threw him a graduation dinner. I asked him “what was the most positive experience that you had while at Ramapo manor?” He goes “Kris the constant care and professionalism by your staff was truly special. You guys went above and beyond for me and I will never forget that. I would rate this facility a 10 across the board.”
