Every individual is emotionally affected to some degree by a traumatic experience. For patients recovering from an illness, accident, a medical procedure, or any other traumatic experience, it is essential for recovery to address not only their physical needs, but their emotional response to the event as well.

The Ventilator Care Program enhances the quality of life of patients who are ventilator dependent. Our team of Pulmonary Specialists, Licensed Respiratory Therapists, and Rehabilitation Experts deliver all-encompassing care that includes administration of oxygen, management of mechanical ventilators, administering drugs to the lungs, monitoring cardiopulmonary systems, measuring lung function, weaning, decannulation and specialized rehabilitation regimens. To ensure the best possible outcomes, individualized weaning schedules are crafted following a hands-on assessment and close observation. When patients no longer require a ventilator, they are transferred to our dedicated Step-Down Unit for continuous monitoring and care.

Throughout this rigorous and demanding process, patients and their families receive an unparalleled level of support.
