Patient was admitted from St John’s Hospital to Sans Souci on January 20 2015. She was admitted here with numerous nursing complications such as pressure ulcers and a Foley Catheter. Also at one point the patient had extreme swelling in her hands preventing her from doing any rehab. Through the strong presence of Dr. Pastor, Dr. Samarneh and Dr. Spencer, she was on the fast track to a complete recovery. The resident received a cortisone shot for the pain, and her ulcers were healed. While in therapy, the patient was admitted with levels of full dependence with all ADL’s, transfers, and was not able to stand up or ambulate the floors. Thanks to our amazing team at Sans Souci, she made a drastic improvement from when she came. She was discharged on April 27, 2015 with modified independence with the ADL’s, transfers from different level surfaces and she was able to ambulate greater than 150 feet with a rolling walker.
