Details of Experience:
Mr. Charles Webster arrived to Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing from Macon County General Hospital on September 9, 2017. He was transferred to Gallatin Center with an admitting diagnosis of a kidney infection. When Charles arrived, he was greeted by his nurse, certified nursing assistant, and Robert, his therapist. Mr. Webster’s goals were to become stronger and to heal his kidney infection.
Robert, his therapist, stated “Over the course of Mr. Webster’s stay, he has showed major improvement. At the very beginning, he was very weak and had trouble with transfers (sit-to-stand) and his balance was fair. Since I have been working with him, his strength and transfers have improved and his balance has become more stable. He is now walking 600 feet with his walker!”
Mr. Webster shared “the CNAs are great and are really fast at getting me what I want and need. Everyone is really nice to talk to. The place is clean and everything is lovely.” At this time, Mr. Webster does not have a definitive discharge date, but we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to support such a driven and steadfast gentleman. He has made incredible strides in his mobility and health.
