Details of experience:

Mr. Thomas Wilson was admitted to Good Samaritan Medical Center after suffering a fall at home, which resulted in a right pelvic fracture. His Orthopedic surgeon decided that the fracture was inoperable, and Mr. Wilson was admitted to Jupiter Rehabilitation on October 4th, 2021.

Upon his admission, Mr. Wilson required max assistance for all his activities of daily living and mobility and was weight bearing as tolerated for his right lower extremity. Through weeks of therapy, Mr. Wilson progressed to a supervision level of assistance with all his activities of daily living and mobility. He was safely discharged home with his wife on October 19th, 2021.

Thomas Wilson came to Jupiter Rehab after being referred by Good Samaritan Medical Center, they had referred him to us, highlighting our most distinguished therapy department. He was not disappointed in the therapy he received while with us and looked forward to it every day while in our facility. He also quite enjoyed our nursing staff, he felt as though they were very attentive to his every need, and his call light was answered in a timely manner. The nurses were always on time with his medications as well! And even though he is most looking forward to returning home to his wife, he is going to miss the delicious food and all the meal choices that the Jupiter Rehabilitation Kitchen had to offer. Mr. Wilson enjoyed the snacks that were offered to him.

Even though Mr. Wilson’s experience at Jupiter Rehabilitation was wonderful, the one he most looked forward to returning to his life at home with his wife and having the freedom to go places and not have to worry about visitation restrictions.

He is anxious to get back to his hobby of researching and following the stock market.

While his bright personality and lovely smile are missed by the staff here at Jupiter Rehabilitation, we are all happy to have gotten Mr. Wilson back to everyday life at home with his family.
