Details of Experience:

In January of 2026, we had the pleasure of meeting, and caring for, the lovely Nancy C. She had been at Centennial hospital with a fractured left femur and needed rehabilitation. Ms. Nancy worked in education for 49 years utilizing her 4 degrees in Primary Education, Elementary Education, Guidance Counseling, and Personnel Services. She spent her entire career teaching and counseling students. In our community, she had to get used to being a student and receiving assistance.

During her time in our community, she enjoyed our high-quality service. She appreciated the alternative menu provided upon admission that allowed her to adjust her meals to her preferences. She also emphasized the helpfulness of our clinical staff, stating they never made her feel like an inconvenience. She stated that they truly listen to their patients. “They were always there when I needed anything,” said Ms. C.

Over time, she developed a strong bond with our staff. She was especially fond of our therapy team. When reminiscing her time with us, she discussed her friendship with Olivia in Speech Therapy and Chase in Occupational Therapy. “They really took their time with me,” stated Ms. C.

She met all of her therapeutic goals and enjoyed every step of the way, noting her love of our group therapy program. She was able to work alongside, encourage, and be inspired by others in our community. Her strength improved and she was successfully able to reduce her risk of falling in the future. In just a few months, she was able to discharge from our community with the highest practical level achieved.

It was a pleasure to have Nancy C in our community, and we are so proud of the progress she was able to make here. We want to thank Ms. Nancy for allowing us to share her story. We wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors.
