philanthropy (fĭ-lăn′thrə-pē)
n. pl. phi·lan·thro·pies: The effort or inclination to increase the well-being of humankind in general and provide unprecedented levels of genuine care in the spirit of CareRite’s Mission in particular – thus assuring that ReNEWal happens hereTM.
At CareRite we are committed to making a difference in our communities.
We look for ways to positively impact our local neighborhoods by hosting educational events, partnering with local organizations, supporting community initiatives and giving to charitable organizations on a local, national and international level. Each CareRite Center hosts fundraising events throughout the year, and sponsors donations to a host of charitable endeavors.
Every year during the month of March in conjunction with Social Work Month, CareRite Centers partners with a local Girl Scout Troop by placing large cookie orders to fund the troop’s annual programs, allowing the troop to accomplish their goals for the year and to live their dreams. In the past, we have partnered with Girl Scouts in need, those who have special abilities, and those who have raised awareness about bullying.
As about 80% of the Social Work force is female, partnering with a local Girl Scout Troop showcases girl power and our appreciation for all that they do!
