Patients’ daughter stated upon admission that Patient has decreased cognitive function but he is still able to express needs. He was very grumpy upon admission and was in intense pain. He refused any medications that is ordered for him, and refused care from all of the staff.

With many weeks of intensive physical therapy Patient became associated and friendlier with the rehab staff. Every day he looked forward to doing his exercises and seeing the friends that he has made from that unit. He became the most likable roommate.
