How did this patient hear about Ramapo Manor?
Patient was previously at Ramapo Manor a few years ago.
Frances Allgood came into Ramapo Manor on Sunday January 1st. She came to us from Nyack Hospital after having a severe case of Pneumonia. Upon arrival Fran lost all of her clothes in the transition process. We immediately had to go downstairs and find her some stuff that she could wear. I thought to myself “oh no this is not a good start to her stay” but she just smiled and said its ok things happen. From day one she was such a pleasure to talk with and all of the employees at Ramapo Manor loved her. The first thing that she said when she got into her room was “Oh my gosh the new renovations look wonderful.” She was pleased with every aspect of Ramapo Manor and never had a problem. Whenever I would go and visit her we would talk for 10-20 minutes and I would always make sure that she was having an excellent stay with us and I would always ask if I could get her anything. She would always tell me “Kris you guys are the best.” Fran made friends with all of the residents at Ramapo Manor and they were so sad to see her leave. Her physical and occupational therapy went great. When I went to talk with her therapists to see how she was doing they said that they were so proud on how fast she recovered and that she was such a delight to work with. When I went in to do her Discharge Survey I asked her on a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your overall stay with us. Her response was brief. “I would rate my overall stay a 100 and I am going to miss all of you guys so much.” I am lucky to say that Fran and I talk weekly and since leaving Ramapo Manor she is feeling great and everything is going well in her everyday life.
