“When I lost my brother, my social worker helped me get through it,” shared a young, bright member of Girl Scout Troop 989. The Troop recently partnered with CareRite Centers, LLC in celebration of National Social Work Month in March. The observance is dedicated to recognizing the countless hours social workers spend helping families in need.

CareRite partnered with Girl Scout Troop 989 in an effort to allow today’s youth to thank these caregivers for acting as leaders and role models in the community. The troop shared alongside executive leadership of CareRite why they were thankful for these heroes. “My social worker was there for me and my mom when my grandma got sick,” echoed throughout a silent room as a panel of the nation’s leading healthcare professionals were captivated by their personal fragility.

“CareRite Centers proudly supports hundreds of social work professionals across the nation. We are so thankful for the thousands of heroes we have within each and every discipline throughout our network, who go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure incredible levels of customer service and patient satisfaction. Our communities are known among their peers as stellar leaders, largely due to the passion and commitment of these heroes who call their respective CareRite community their ‘home away from home,’” shared Ashley Romano, National Director of Patient Experience/Research Development for CareRite Centers.
