Details of Experience:
Michael D. is a very active individual, who grew up in a military family, and has moved across the country. In his adult life, he joined the Navy and continued his traveling. Following his time in the Armed Forces, of which Nashville Center thanks him for his service, he worked in computer engineering for 40 years, while traveling the world and visiting over 80 different countries. Unfortunately, following a recent examination, scans indicated he had formed a blood clot in his left lung.

The good news was Michael knew exactly where to go: Nashville Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. This would be his second stay at Nashville Center, and Michael was looking forward to “seeing old faces.” Now a few weeks into treatment, he is just as happy with his second stay as his first. Along with receiving his daily treatments and enjoying some relaxation, Michael has begun practicing meditation and mindfulness.

Michael mentioned that he cannot wait to get back home to do some work in his adult coloring books. He mentioned that he is waiting to get elective eye surgery to remove his cataracts to advance in his coloring difficulty. “My overall experience has been great so far. I love this place and would recommend Nashville Center to a friend in a heartbeat,” said Michael. He also stated, “They take care of you and everything is so clean, and the medical staff is very sharp.” He also mentioned that he loves therapy and therapy mentioned how pleasant it was to work with him. Nashville Center wishes Michael all the best and his amazing smile!
