Details of experience:
Mr. John Vogeley came to Jupiter Rehabilitation on July 16th, 2021, from Encompass Health, after sustaining a fall at home resulting in a left femur fracture with an ORIF. When he arrived at our facility, he had toe-touch weight-bearing restrictions and required about 50% assistance to do any mobility or activities of daily living (ADLs). Over the next four weeks, working with skilled rehab, Mr. Vogeley was able to return home with his wife and perform ADLs at a modified independent level without any need for physical assistance.

John Vogeley isn’t a man of many words. He had a sense of calm that made it very easy to be around, and it was comforting to sit and talk with him. With a strong team awaiting his return home, John’s biggest motivation was to be home with his wife and to be able to play cards with her and their son. John started playing cards at a young age and has carried the love of card games with him since his wife even brought him some cards with larger writing so he could play solitaire to pass the time while at Jupiter Rehab.

The staff will miss Mr. Vogeley; he was a pleasant individual and always up for a nice conversation. We wish Mr. Vogeley and his family all the best.
